• The transportation convenience of Hengfu C is a freedom for lazy people to stroll and eat

  Before coming to Shanghai, I did some research and spent half a month in the Hengfu Scenic Area, and finally settled on Hengshan Garden Hotel Shanghai. After staying for three days, we will make a direct decision: later, we will visit wutong District in Shanghai, and we will never choose a hotel that needs to take a taxi to bypass. It will clearly play with the surrounding and traffic advantages of "going out is the core, returning to the store is clean".
  The location of the hotel is almost in the heart of Hengfu Scenic Area. Come out of Hengshan Road Subway Station and walk along wutong Avenue for 5 minutes to the entrance of the hotel. Line 3, Line 10, and Line 1 intersect here. If you want to take Line 10 directly to the Bund and transfer to Line 2 at Lujiazui, you don't have to take a detour. Even if you catch an early flight to Hongqiao Airport, you can safely reach the entire subway station without worrying about being stuck on the Yan'an Elevated Road during rush hour. Friends who drive by themselves are more worry free. The hotel comes with a free parking lot and new energy charging spaces. After parking, you can walk the entire way through the complex, without having to wander for half an hour in the narrow old streets to find a parking spot.
  What makes lazy people like me ecstatic the most is that almost all the core points around are within walking range. Walking 600 meters from the hotel, you can reach the check-in point of Wukang Building in less than 10 minutes. You don't have to wake up early to take photos, you can walk slowly after waking up, and also buy a freshly baked sea salt roll at the bakery on Wukang Road. Walking towards Anfu Road is only 1.2 kilometers, and along the way, you will pass by several independent bookstores and handicraft studios hidden in old western-style houses. Even the walls on both sides of the road are covered with roses, and any casual photo taken is atmospheric.
  The density of strolling and eating around is even more exaggerated, with dozens of old Shanghainese restaurants hidden within a 10 minute walking radius. If you want to drink authentic local cuisine, just take a turn and you'll find an old restaurant that has been open for over a decade. The taste of pickled duck and pickled vegetables is much more authentic than that of internet famous restaurants; If you want to check in at an internet famous coffee shop, just take a few steps along the way and you will come across small shops with different styles, from vintage old western-style coffee shops to industrial style specialty shops. Changing one shop every day won't be the same. At night, I wanted to have a drink. The nearby small taverns spread out along Hengshan Road, and after drinking, I strolled slowly back to the hotel, saving even the cost of taking a taxi.
  Even if you want to visit the business circle, you don't have to go far. You can walk 20 minutes to Xujiahui to Ganghui Hang Lung and Meiluo City. If you want to visit Huaihai Road, you can walk along the wutong Path on Hengshan Road. The scenery along the way is more interesting than taking the subway. On the third day, I didn't even plan any route. When I woke up and walked out in slippers, I wandered along any small path and stumbled upon the old garden hidden in the alley and the unopened niche exhibition.
  The biggest feeling of staying at Hengshan Garden Hotel Shanghai is that you don't have to rush to clock in, check the route, or grab a car on the Internet. All the time you have to rush is reserved for the wutong on the roadside and the smell of coffee. • I have found the correct way to open the Hengfu Scenic Area

  Before coming to Shanghai, I spent a whole week selecting from over a dozen hotels in Hengfu Scenic Area and finally finalized Hengshan Garden Hotel Shanghai. I thought I just chose an old hotel with good location. After three days of staying, I found that it was not an ordinary place to stay, but a unique key to open the life in wutong District of old Shanghai.
  The few hundred meters from Hengshan Road subway station have already entered the state. The whole road is tightly covered by two rows of thick shade of century old wutong. When the wind blows, there are tiny lights and shadows on the sidewalk. On the windowsill of the old villa passing by, there are flourishing roses, and the butter smell of the nearby coffee shop is floating in the air. At the moment of turning into the hotel gate, the hustle and bustle of Hengshan Road outside was immediately isolated behind us. In front of us lay a nearly 10000 square meter garden, half of which was a neatly trimmed Western style lawn, and the other half was a Chinese style pavilion hidden with small bridges and flowing water. It was too luxurious to have such a large private green space in the city center.
  The basic room type I booked completely exceeded my expectations. The space was spacious and not cramped, and the large desk by the window was just enough to open my travel book. The most attention to detail is the cleaning supplies in the room. That old brand soap is warm and not tight to use, even someone like me who brings my own cleaning supplies all year round is directly affected. As soon as the double-layer soundproof glass is closed, the sound of traffic outside fades into an almost inaudible background sound. At night, when the window is open and the wind blows from wutong trees, even the dream is soft.
  The dining and strolling experience in the hotel does not require leaving the front door at all. The Baihuayuan Chinese restaurant on the second floor blends Cantonese cuisine and local cuisine perfectly. I ordered a dish of fragrant rice grass, tender enough to taste the spring flavor. The White Magnolia Cafe on the fourth floor is next to the panoramic french window. When I look up at breakfast, I can see the layers of wutong leaves outside the window. The small Wonton is so fresh that I can even drink all the soup. In the afternoon, find a spot by the pond in the garden and order the hotel's signature afternoon tea. The butter fragrance of Sikang mixed with the osmanthus fragrance next to it is much more comfortable than waiting in line for two hours at an internet famous restaurant outside.
  The most amazing thing is its geographical location. It takes only 10 minutes to walk to Wukang Building and 15 minutes to walk to Anfu Road. Along the way, you can stroll through old western-style houses, independent bookstores, and handmade shops one by one, without having to take the subway or taxi. If you feel tired from strolling, feel free to turn back to the hotel and swim in the clean and transparent indoor swimming pool for half an hour, or run two laps in front of the garden in the gym. The fatigue all over your body instantly dissipates.
  My biggest feeling after staying for three days is that I don't have to rush to the scenic spots to check in when I come to Hengfu Scenic Area. Stay in Hengshan Garden Hotel Shanghai, take a walk in the shade of wutong trees in the morning, drink afternoon tea in the garden in the afternoon, and walk slowly at night to the nearby old Shanghai tavern for a nap.
